i recently got my ears pierced. I was babysitting and the lil girl hit my ear accidentally causing it to swell a bit. These were my second holes. I went to the doc and he said there was no infection. The other day i decided to put earings in my first holes for the 1st time since i got my second holes and see how i looked. Well, on one ear it looked like the earings were farther apart than the other. Is this because of the sewelling, or because the person who pierced my ears messed everythhing up???

probably because of the swelling because the ear lobe is enlarged it will seem odd, if it were the fault of the artist you would have known immeatly like i did. NEVER GET YOUR EARS PIERCED AT WALMART

It could be because of swelling Tru ice first. Second make sure after baby sitting you clean your earings very well. You never know what kids get into. Have a friend measure and if still not happy get another piercing to straighten out the problem.

It could be the swelling. I guarantee you that you are the only one who will be looking that closely at your piercings. I can tell you this because on my lower set of piercings, the holes are not at the same angle; it drives me NUTS, but nobody else can see it, even when I try to point it out to them.

Is your ear still sore??? You might need to go to another doctor. But if there is no swelling or infection, I don't know you might need to let that hole heal over and get it re done. Its up to you. I can't see your ear. Good Luck.

Probably the swelling, because i am sure you would have noticed right when they pierced your ear if they had messed up.

It's probably the swelling. Just wait until the swelling goes down and then see if there's a problem.

If your swelling has went down. Yes, they measured the holes wrong.

Well, when I got my second hole they kinda messed up. Don't worry, no one will notice. You just notice because you know its there. Nobody is going to check if your peircings are perfect. You'll be fine.
