Yes, and NO! Yes you will find happiness in your life by doing
the things you liked before you were married...while you were
married and even since you have been alone...you need a relationship with the Lord this will help too! No, the pain will never leave completely...but your life is important! So live and
move on...you must if you want to fulfill your life that God created
who created you for a purpose...and if you are still among the living then your purpose is still not fulfilled! Get the MESSAGE BIBLE...this reads like a book...with reason...without numbers and passages linking to other passages...start in the new tesement and start talking to the Lord...HE still has many blessings for you and a plan for your life!

I'm sorry you're hurting. Losing someone is never easy. But yes, time really does change things. Because eventually the pain will lessen and you'll come to a place where you're ready to put it behind you, where you can pick yourself up and move on, though right now I know it doesn't seem like the pain will ever end. But it will. Be gentle with yourself, allow yourself to feel whatever you're feeling, and move at your own pace. Just because someone else says you should be over it by now doesn't mean you will be. How long you were together is directly proportionate to how long it will take you to get over the loss.

Time changes nothing...nor does it heal all wounds, it's going to take a little more work on your part than that, I'm afraid.

But..will the pain go away? Yes. What it transforms into is up to you. The difference will be in how you choose to respond; do you ignore it and get bitter, do you control it and lose who you really are, or do you confront it and grow beyond it? I'd choose #3.

Time doesn't change anything, you do.

So the longer you take remembering and wishing how things used to be, the longer it will take for you to change things. Stop thinking of how it used to be and how much you want it back. Instead start thinking of how you want things to be... you now have the opportunity to really look at your life and determine if things have been the way you want them, or are they they way you settled for them? If you want to make your life different, then figure out what you want different and do it. Its your turn. It's also a good opportunity to make you a better you and do things you've always wanted to do.... It could be as simple as a hair color change, a new style or as exciting as sky diving.. but you've got to figure out what it is exactly for you.

Yes time really does have a way of healing. It takes more time for some people than others though. After your heart heals you may find that your ready to really find the love of your life. Your still young, your not dead, your soul mate can be out there waiting for you right now to come and find them. Good luck to you

Only if you want to let it go. If you insist, that memory and longing will stay with you as long as you feed it....like an old dog. You have to be willing to let it go...and close the chapter. I would suggest you start doing volunteer work for less fortunate people to distract yourself and give of yourself. You will heal in time....if you really want that to happen.
