Just wondering, but does anyone think Conan O'Brien is the right guy to replace Jay on the Tonight Show? I'm not really sure. If not, who would you pic?

In response to tomcat: Some time ago Jay Leno announced that he would be leaving the Tonight Show in 2009, and NBC subsequently announced that Conan would be his replacement. It's not breaking news--it's been well over a year since the announcement was made.
In response to the original question: Yes, Conan probably deserves it more than any other potential host out there--by the time 2009 rolls around, he'll have been at Late Night for sixteen years. He's paid his dues. And come on, imagine a Tonight Show that's actually laugh-out-loud funny, not roll-your-eyes-and-cringe funny. The real question is, who is deserving of the 12:35 spot, because it certainly isn't Carson Daly? Here's to hoping they can find a relative unknown that will make his (or her) mark, the way they found Conan back in '93.

i love Conan he's a wacky guy but what the *** are you talking about? replace the Leno? are you mad? must i tune in to every show to keep everything in kilter?what's this talk of a new host? is Leno leaving?i have got to stop smoking crack! miss the boob tube one week everything is fuked up? lol
