Internet porn especially goes way beyond a 'natural' act in that it is very much from a male perspective..
Women have to be corrected to the 9's.. there is no affection/respect/consideration - often the woman is body to be used/abused/discarded and called all manner of names at the same time..
Porn often too requires the user to up the ante - biology surely did not intend for people to see 10,000 naked bodies etc so technology to some extent distorts the original drive..
It cannot be healthy that women are habitually called s****, w*****, b***** etc..
Often women think they are on equal terms with men sexually but what is so equal about having to compete with this distorted way to view sex?

Here is the thing - I don't think women are as pervy as men.. I think women who make porn have been damaged in the course of their socialisation into a patriarchal society.. I think if they really knew how men think/view them they would not do it..
I think women compete to be most attractive to men.. even unfortunately if that means being so submissive as to let themselves be so degraded/humilated and used..
Power is exercised..that doesn't mean they do not freely choose to do it - but it does mean that the agency (free will) they display is constricted too..
Many porn stars are vulnerable in that they have been prostitutes/are poor/been abused etc
A normal healthy adult woman would never do it

i have the same opinion as you, i always feel as tho im not satisfying my fiancee when i find hes been watching porn. I always feel like i would never sayisfy him in the same way they do. i feel i have to compete with girls on the porn site an mags etc, which can cause arguments between us. some people say porn can help your sex life but for me it ruins it, as i take it to heart.
I know what you mean.

I'm sure as you've already figured out porn is an addiction. It will take both men and women if they're not careful. Yes, it does alter the way men see women and women see men. After a while they become desensitized to it and crave more vile forms of it. The exact same way drugs or alcohol work. I would recommend checking out a university library in the medical or psychology
sections some books on abnormal psychology. Warn everyone you can about this destrucitve form.

Yeh porn is wrong and it is disrespectful to women, its definitely addictive, and as a bloke I've succumbed to it just like anyother bloke. I think it does degrade a man's view of a women, the ladies have to take some share of the blame for participating in all of it. The problem is that ladies do not realise how easily men are stimulated by it and drawn into it almost involuntarily though we always have free will.....eventually I believe it could lead to unfaithfulness in a relationship...most men don't see it as a problem but anything thats addictive is a problem - all things in moderation is 1 of my mottos- addictions demand more and more, promising satisfaction but never delivering, perhaps eventually the addiction mutates into paeodophillia and before you know it the police are knocking at your door......

yes thats right. that is surely a disrespectful. it changes the way men look other wemen.they see the normal women as they see sexy women.thats the fault of some men.not for all men. But, you have to think another facts.why they search for porn?because they know there are womens who are ready to show there private things to everyone.why didn't you think about that?i agree some men are cultureless who want to see porn all the time.but ther are womens who want to expose their sexuality.think about that.and try to stop wemen from porn sites, men naturally will stop seeing porn. thank you...

I dont see anything wrong in watching porn ... it shouldnt effect they way a man sees a woman bcos after all the porn is all about the fantasy aspect of sex ... of course all woman are not naturally slim big boobs ect ... its usually exaggerated femininity ... not fair on us poor women who watch porn mind some of those men are minging... those haircuts (mullet) those taches !!
anyways as i was saying its all about fantasy ... just be comfortable with yourself and if u dont like porn .. no one is making U watch it....
these woman and men get paid good money and as far as i can see these woman arent complaining ...

Yes, it can alter how we view each other, but if the observer has some sensitivity, s/he will reject it for something less stark.

It is the fact that most women in the porn industry are willing party and many earn a living from there. They have to right to choose to be or not to be part of it.
