I have heard a lot about weird al yankovic and read most of his bios. Did you know is parents died from carbon monoxide poisoning? Anyways I want to know what people think about him. Is there any fans out there? Oh ya and his latest CD comes out September 26!

I don't really know a lot about him as a person, (That's interesting about his parents, how old was he?) but I think his music is hillarious. The Saga Begins will always be my favourite Star Wars parody song, not to mention a parody of another of my favourite songs. I also love the song Your Horoscope for Today, and many, many, more that would take too long to list.
I didn't know about the new cd coming out, I'll have to pick it up.

I love Weird Al. Many of his lyrics are very clever and he's got to be an insightful person to manage with his lyrics. I remember him from the beginning of his career (shows how old I am) He's been around a long time and continues to be good. His career has been incredibly stable, in the face of personal tragedy. Even though some of his lyrics are creepy, I've got a lot of respect for him and his personal integrity.

I have a Weird Al song on my iPod called Jerry Springer. The tune is "One Week" by the Barenaked Ladies. I think he's talented because not a lot of people can make up their own song to another artist's beat. He doesn't oversing anything. His songs are funny and they make sense. My other favorites are, "Eat It" and "Girls Just Wanna Have Lunch"

I LOVE Weird Al! I've been a huge fan since his first song, Another One Rides the Bus! We actually performed "song pantomime" to it at a UIL competition in school. :)
I've also "rewritten" several songs over time - when I was younger I wanted to be the female Weird Al.

I have a couple of his albums. A great artist. An original who has copycats, most notably Cledus T. Judd. Oh well, I guess it is a form of flattery to be copied.
