Yes, drafts are only implimented in times of dire need, so i would answer the call and serve my country. and plus..you go to jail if you don't.

Well first there isn't a draft system. The politicians banned it in the 70's so that their offspring wouldn't have to serve. When the draft was active and you did get drafted, and then decided that you weren't going to go, and did not go, then the government would seek you out and put you in prison.

the united states gov/military NEEDS to bring the draft back all these punks that go & shoot ppl thinking they are bad *** cant resolve a conflict because theyre wussies are the ones that need to be drafted

I would not go. there is no need to go to war at this time. The US is just a big bully that likes picking on other countries. if there was a real need to defend my country because we were under attack then yes I would go. It has nothing to do with being a real man like some idiots will say its about stand up to what you believe is right and not just being the government's ***** and do as they say when they say it.

My father was and he did. May '70. Vietnam '71-'72.
The cowards scuttled off the Canada etc., which was prolly a good thing for the US.

No. I have 2 small children to think about. Why should I let my children be raised by their father alone for some bullshit reason the government has thought of.

i am a retired naval officer, so i cant be recalled without a constitutional amendment. now if you are speaking about my sons well. i will send them to war when mr. bush and the neo-cons in congress send their kids to war!!!!!!!!!!! and since that will never happen, i guess my sons will stay nice and safe just like the bush twins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
