Absolutely. There is a distinct lack of imagination on the part of programme planners, especially on ITV. Nothing but old soaps that are past their sell by date, TV Chefs and stupid reality shows. I don't know what more I can do to avoid the rubbish. It's got so bad I am looking on message boards for something to keep me sane.

Yes, it's a sign that you are getting wiser and more selective. TV, movies and commercials are all being driven to out do one another with a bottomline of generating commercial revenue. So, unfortunately, the more news grabbing, attention seeking reality shows may be more popular than your decent documentary.

Definitely waste of license money, rubbish on extra channels you pay for as well, they should have more on in the holidays like they do at Christmas. The kids are so bored

yep, tv is a big stinking pile of poo these days. i havent watched tv for ages now and i don't miss it. its all been dumbed down..production companies only seem to cater for the lowest common denominators out there..hence nothing but soaps, reality shows & home & garden make-over shows. and who needs that load of pants?
