I hope you are NEVER able to have anymore children; you don't deserve to be a mother.

And pepperkittyn I won't end up in a situation like this because I would never murder my own children.

17 and pregnant? That's STILL not an excuse.

It's sad that you think you can make the desision to have sex and not even be able to take medicine that could have life-altering effects.

If the medicine he gave you was just a pain killer, it won't affect anything, but if it was something like an antibiotic or something to keep you from getting blood clots at the site of the surgery or something, that may end up having an effect.

There could be an infection that could cause them to have to remove your uterus, or even a bloodclot that could kill you. THAT would certainly put a damper on your future fertility.

Also, the abortion itself could lead to scar tissue, which is also a cause of infertility, as it creates less good surface area for the egg to implant later on. And the more abortions you have and the further along you are when you have them, the higher chance of more scar tissue developing.

I think that 'family pressure' is a terrible excuse to use to murder a baby, and if you think it's ok to kill this child now, what makes you think that you should be allowed to have one in the future?

I really hope that there was another reason, a serious reason, not some pathetic 'it's not the right time' excuse, that you just didn't mention.

Usually, the doc gives you an antibiotic. It's to prevent infection, and has nothing to do with fertility. You should take it, though. An INFECTION could lead to infertility in some cases.

Oh, and Tiffany? Shut up, okay? Until you end up in a situation like that, you have no room to talk at all. Dumb ho.

What do you want, Tiffany? She's a kid. She really wasn't given much of a choice in the matter, either. She was seventeen, if you read her other questions. If anything, this experience will make her understand the necessity for birth control and feed her desire to want to be a mother in the future. It was a mistake, and I think that she knows it.

... And, you're point is what? Do you think that she doesn't feel bad enough about the situation already? Who gives you the right to come in and make it worse? All you can do is hope that she learned from the experience, and hope that she makes the right choices in the future. If you say that you've never done something that you regret, I'd call you a liar.

AND, I HOPE THAT THE REST OF YOU WHO ARE CONDEMNING THIS GIRL DO NOT CALL YOURSELVES CHRISTIANS, OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT. SHE MADE A MISTAKE. IS THAT SO UNFORGIVABLE?

you should always take the meds you are giving, you gave no reason why you did not take them. You did not say what the med even was so no way to give a clear answer. As for future pregnancy i only hope you WILL take meds birth control to prevent having another abortion, so when the time comes you want a child your womb is not weak from having abortions which in it's self causes fertility issues. TAKE CARE of your body take what the docs says to to take "not that hard" be vigilant about not getting in this situation again. I AM PRO choice you seem to be making poor choices thou with not taking things gave to you for your own health.

Any time that a woman gives birth or has an abortion it leaves a scar on the uterus. Scars can prevent future pregnancies. So if you ever want to be a mom don't get pregnant until ready. Just had to put that out there.

im sorry that your family pressured you. but dont listen to anyone on this page, its just there opinons and dont let it get to you, you made a choice and went through with it for the better. I guess your 17 since thats what eveyone says on this page? you wouldnt be able to have a kid and finish school and have your own furutre and career. you are still a kid yourself how would be able to raise it? anyways i would have made the same choice if i was your own age. and everyone has their own views on abortion so dont let them get to you =) as of the medicine im pretty sure its just to prevent infections, and you should take whatever the doctor gives you, you know its not poison or anything bad so why not take it? its will only make you better. good luck =) and stay stron, live your dreams.

The abortion was your choice. I don't personally believe in it but obviously you had a good reason. Any abortion meds after or not can effect your ability to have more children. The Dr should have told you that before you had the abortion.

Go to your doctor. I don't know what to tell you.

Don't listen to any of the answers, also. The pro-lifers are retarded. I'm tired of typing up long essays over the internet to prove my point, so i'll just leave a short answer this time.
YOUR body, YOUR life, YOUR business, YOUR fetus, YOUR choice!

Pro-lifers should get a life, and stop getting into other peoples' business. They should also complete high school, and if they have completed high school, they should start reading books (the bible doesn't count!), and should start using their own brains. Pro-lifers are ignorant, uneducated, misguided, stupid, and CONTRADICTORY.

Pro-lifers are just jealous because nobody wants to f*ck their ugly, anti choice asses. It's true. I know what I said sounds mean, and immature, but it's 100% true.

Good luck.

Tanya,

Please go to term next time this happens, and give your baby to a couple who can't have children, okay? In fact, you might have been able to make a little money from your nine months of nurture. If it really was your family who pressured you into murdering a human being, they should be ashamed!

Dude, they give you that medicine for a reason. The main reason being that one of the meds shrinks your uterus back into place. Get your *** back to a doctor, pronto.

This is a question you need to talk to your Doctor about. I mean infections can arise but this is some thing that need to talk to your Doctor about.
