Easy question - everyone loses, including the US since we are now involved by virtue of arms sales to *both* sides, failure to negotiate until Lebanon was nearly totally destroyed by the air attacks....
EDDie says this is not a war on Lebanon, it's a war on Hezbollah. Ok, the country is destroyed, and many surviving Lebanese who can immigrate will leave and will never return. Other Lebanese citizens will live in rubble and poverty and chaos for many years. But this wasn't a war on Lebanon...ok, the operation was a success, but the patient died.

properly i think of that its despite the fact that the call to conflict replaced into rushed, now there is little back monitoring. the hearth replaced into burning warm sufficient and the added warmth is making the pot boil over. This extension of conflict on terror looks to have riled up the pals. the subject with the conflict on terror is that the jobs of terrorist and Champion are skewed with the aid of the human beings you ask. The harmless lebanon electorate that are harmed could reasonable not view the Israeli human beings so properly. so by using fact the different useful international locations in that regin weigh in if there's a distinction of their operation definition of terror, issues ought to explode on a a lot bigger scale. possibly there's a extra suited thank you to handle the what's basically guerrilla conflict of attacking those terrorists rather than kill innocents and as a result ignite conflict.

The job is not done yet. Israel must be given the opportunity to destroy Hezbullah. This UN resolution, as others are, is a farce. It does not even address the reason Israel went into Lebanon.
Lets address how the current situation began:
BUT FOR Hezbollah going on Israeli soil, killing 8 and kidnapping 2 Israeli soldiers, Israel would not be on the offensive to destory Hezbollah. This is not a war on Lebanon. It is a war on Hezbollah and its backers (Syria and Iran).
Since the Lebanese army that numbers about 150,000 soldiers is unwilling and/or unable to remove Hezbollah's 5,000 terrorists, Israel will. How would your country act if it had a terrorist group within its borders were attacking a neighboring country? I would think your country would act immediate to deal with the terrorists. Not Lebanon, oh no, not any other Muslim country because Jewish blood is cheap, and the Muslims dream of destroying Israel. Not a chance!
Israel wants peace and recognition of its existence. The Muslim extremists, including Syria and Iran regimes want Israel wiped off the face of the earth, and have repeatedly said so. Israel has absolutely no interest in claiming Lebanon, or any other Arab country.
The Muslim world has missed every opportunity to make peace with Israel. When a Muslim country and brave leader did make peace with Israel (the late Egyptian President Anwar al-Sadat), he was assassinated by Iranian-backed group.
Unfortunately for the modern world, the Muslims have been conditioned by their dictatorial regimes to have one thought, the same as the regime. There is no spectrum of opinions in the Muslim world, there is no freedom of expression, freedom of thought, freedom to live life freely (exception is in Turkey).
It's time for Muslims to take accountability for their religion and culture. Stop spinning, and address the fact that the Muslim culture is one of the most oppressive and violent cultures, against its own people, and certainly against other cultures.
For those who believe that the extremist element in Islam is small, the numbers are staggering. There are 1.2 billion Muslims in this world. Lets take a very liberal view that only a very small percentage of Muslims are exterme, while the rest of the Muslim world is very peaceful. So if only 10% of Muslims have extreme point of views, and may be a threat, and must be dealt with, meaning dealing with 120 million Muslims! How about 1%? Then you must deal with 12 million Muslims. How about 1/10 of a percent? Then you must deal with 1.2 million Muslims. The numbers are staggering! How do you propose dealing with even the "very low" figures of 1.2 million Muslim extremists?
Israel must be given the opportunity to continue the work to destroy the terrorist group Hezbollah up to its leader. It would be to the benefit of Lebanon, Israel, the Middle East, and the World to rid of Hezbollah, Hamas, the Syrian and Iranian regime. It must be done to finally have a chance for peace in the region.

I don't think that there will be a winner or a loser this is all so complex there is no gaining of anything on both sides. i think the problems will only grow bigger and more difficult to solve and both sides will end up losing.
