me,
Remember when the PS2 was launched?
You couldnt get one unless you wanted to pay over the odds.

No. Its way too expensive, and dosn't offer anything that my 360 dosnt already. Also, there are loads of games out, and in the future on 360 that I cant wait for. Where are the killer ps3 games? The Wii is different enough to warrent purchase.

I am getting a PS3 and a Wii mainly to judge for myself which is better. I go off GAME CONTENT NOT GRAPHICS. The graphics in Pong are better than the game content in some of them xbox 360 games.
Stupid people like me are willing to pay them crazy prices for them newly released consoles when after about 6-9 months give or take a little they get reduced in price.

I spoke to the owner of a video game shop yesterday and he told me he won't accept pre orders until mid october. He hasn't all the details, specs prices etc. yet. I already have a 360, in addition to a ps2.
I'm gonna hold off until I see actual game footage. All I've seen is pre rendered eye candy. This console is going to have to REALLY impress me before I part with any cash. Of course, if someone was to just give me one (my birthday is exactly one week after the launch), I wouldn't refuse!

PS3 isn't going to be good. I thought it was, but I was wrong. Some of the games are going to cost $100! And Sony just put a US patent on technology preventing people from playing borrowed or rented games. So you can't rent games you have to buy them.
