Drug tests are notoriously unreliable. Each drug has a varying "window" of detection, meaning a different length of time that it can be detected in a drug test. This window can also be influenced by an individual person's metabolism of the drug as well as some food and drink items. For example, cocaine appears in the urine 2 to 4 days after use. So someone could be high on coke and test negative, or they could be sober and test positive for something they did over the weekend. Some fruit juices speed up the excretion of amphetamines by as much as 50%, further confusing the situation. Ingestion of poppy seeds can make someone test positive for opiates, and any over the counter cold medicine containing pseudoepherine can make someone test positive for amphetamines.

But THC generally lasts in the body for a while, showing up for a few days with occaisional use for up to a full month with continous use. Lortab shows up as an opiate, and opiates generally take 3 to 7 days to get cleared from the body. Proof of your Lortab prescription is adequate to prevent you from any discipline fo testing positive opiates.

Hi,,,, well i guess there is a reason you want to know about the THC..... lol....... it must be very low in your body if you passed... they give just a little leeway on the THC test.... so you must have not smoked any in a while?? is my guess.... but the lortabs....thats a different story,,, the test is automatic... on narcotics.. cocaine,,and even cough syrup that has codine in it.... it will trigger it....

I know,, mine did,,,, thank goodness,, i was legit... with the doctor and the pharmacist backing me up,,, but i had to wait 2 and half weeks for the results......(no kidding) but I got paid for it...

hope this helps ......

good luck
