To everybody else who thinks that rock music has been going steadily downhill since 1974, what are your top 10 favorite albums? Mine are:

1. The Beatles - Revolver (1966)
2. The Rolling Stones - Let it Bleed (1969)
3. The Beatles - The White Album (1968)
4. The Beach Boys - Pet Sounds (1966)
5. The Stooges - Fun House (1970)
6. The Rolling Stones - Exile on Main Street (1972)
7. The Clash - London Calling (1979)
8. The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's (1967)
9. The Who - Live at Leeds (1970)
10. Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon (1973)

And? The Rolling Stones are a lot better than Led Zeppelin, and their classic period is second only to The Beatles' classic period.

Yeah, I suppose so. I do love Led Zeppelin, don't get my wrong, but I certainly hate Bob Seger.

My only complaint is that you have NO led zepplin albums on the list It's tough to keep them off, but have the Stones on there twice!

Good Classic rock fans can disagree though... Good question!

(At least I didn't have Bob Seger listed!!!)

I like The Eagles Greatest Hits 1 & 2. Those two have most of my favorite songs on it. I like all of the Beach Boys stuff.

all of CCR,Aerosmith,Lynard Skynard,Van Halin when David Lee Roth was in the group,Queen, Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band.

If you add the Kinks to that list and take out the Beach Boys, I'll agree with you a bit more.
