You better believe it affects me when minimum wage is barely over $6 an hour and gas prices are almost $4 a gallon. Why work?
I mean, I will keep working, but it is hard to not think it! I just moved next door to my work so I don't have to travel 6 miles to get there anymore.

Gas prices will never go down because supply is constantly decreasing while demand is increasing all over the world in emerging countries like india and china. Also there is a slight but constant rate of inflation that normally makes the prices seem higher, so no.

Demand continues to increase and supply continues to decrease. It will help alleviate some of the pain if you invest in some oil stocks. As the price of oil increase, the price of the oil stocks should follow. Then your profits on your oil stocks ill offset the price you pay at the pump.

Look for them to go up even higher before they start inching down. Its safe to say though, we'll probably never see it as "cheap" as $2 a gallon again. Its the legacy of George Bush - the worst president in history.

in 1960 minimum wage was 55 cents an hour, gas was 25 cents a gallon, you worked 1 hour to pay for 2 gallons of gas!
today minimum wage is 5.15 an hour, that will buy 2 gallons of gas, nothing has changed!!

You can always check where the gas is the cheapest in your zip code. That's what I do to save a few bucks...

They will probably go down some in the winter.
I will be very surprised if they ever get below $2.00/gallon again.
