You can't remove a tan once you get it. Even microdermabrasion won't take a tan away evenly. The only thing you can do is lay out more, but this time put some sunscreen on the parts you don't want to tan.

If I were you, I would use a self tanner that matches your tan color on all of your un-tanned areas. Then, after it dries, apply a high SPF sunscreen all over so it will all be your natural color after it fades.

sit out in a swim suit in your back yard and lay there for about 30 minutes every day. It works trust me, and don't put on sunscreen. Just put sunscreen on the parts you don't want to tan. Don't put make-up when you do it either.
