I think people who are getting lions and cheetah cubs are just plain stupid, all cats have a wild side and these cats are wild and can not be domesticated its only a matter of time before they get killed. People just have to play god with everything and if it doesnt work out they way they want they kill it! I hate mankind. Why cant people just leave animals alone.

I think its wrong. All "wild" animals deserve a home outside of a cage or any other kind of enclosure. Chimps usually out live the owner then they are willed to someone who will likely not take care it it right or send it to a zoo, circus or set it free in the wild without it knowing how to survive. Makes me sick to think about it.

Although owning a variety of species of exotic animals is legal in many states (but not all), it is highly unadvisable in the case of the species you bring up. Large felids, marsupials and great apes may be very manageable (and cute) as younsters but quickly grow unmanageable (and less cute) as they begin to assert their natural independence and in many cases, aggression.

Although many of these instances start innocently enough (a well-intentioned parent trying to please their son or daughter), they are substantially short-sighted and don't realize the long-term implications of the decision. Inevitably the household is forced to abandon the concept of keeping the large animal and they are sold to convenient but not appropriate circumstances such as roadside zoos, biomedical laboratories or breeders servicing the entertainment industry. In all of these cases, the adult animal is left to lanquish a substandard life through no fault of its own.

Wrong, wrong wrong. Many of those animals were smuggled illegally out of their countries of origin by criminals who drug them and stuff them into crates where they are nearly suffocated. They make bad, dangerous pets once they get past the cute baby stage. Because people can't handle them, they are chained up, mistreated, and abandoned. Leave them in the wild where they belong!

I think it's wrong. People are trying to domesticate everything in this world, and I think that wild things should be left wild.

I don't think it's right. They want to be free.

let them live where they belong.when they need help, give it to them and help them get back to their environment. if they can't go back 'cause of long term injuries, adopt them.
