Hezbollah, deifinitely. They will have time to regroup and resupply. History has taught us they don't adhere to the convential rules of warfare or diplomacy. This ceasefire effectively ties Israel's hands until the next attack.

And I don't believe for a minute Hezbollah will return the kidnapped soldiers. Those guys are dead, dead DEAD.

Neither Hezbollah will benefit in tat they will call it a victory for them and then they will defy the Un resolutions and rearm and recruit more supporters then they will begin attacks again killing innocent Israelis with their rockets and mortars just as they have done for the last 6 yrs. And then Israel will have to go in again and be labeled an aggressor and murdering invader by Hezbollah and the Lebanese people when they are just trying to stop the Hezbos from doing what they want with impunity. The UN will lose face in the area because they will fail again to stop Hezbollah from rearming and will be percieved as weak or as an arm of the US or Israel. So a ceasefire agreement will fail and no one will really benefit except the radical Islamofacist who will use the time to prepare for the next act of violence which will kill more innocents on both sides. So I say let Israel finish what hezbollah started and be done with it.

HEzbollah. Very simply becasue Israels mission was to irradicate the terrorist group before a cease fire could be reached and they failed to do that. They failed to significantly diminish Hezbollah's power and in a result Israel did not gain anything or benifit in many ways. A cease fire means for Hezbollah the end to fighting and i beleive that is the only way to get rid of them therefore they are benifiting the most becasue there group will not efevtively be dismantled.

Hezbollah isn't even in this anymore. It is beleaguered Lebanon that is taking a pounding--all their power plants, airport runways, bridges, major roads, hospitals, and towns.

It is Lebanon that needs for Israel to stop the bombing, but Israel will be given credit for doing so which they don't really deserve because it is obvious by now that bombing Lebanon will not get rid of Hezbollah or make Israel any more secure.

Hezbollah will benefit. Why? They will be able to re-arm and re-position then attack again. They along with the majority of the arab-street in that region of the world have stated time and again they want Israel to be wiped off the map.

Israel will win politically. Hezbollah will have time to regroup and restock their munitions. I wouldn't call this a win/win situation though. The Lebanese are the big losers either way.
