More precisely hydrogen and oxygen car that uses fuel cell technology. Fuel cells react the hydrogen and oxygen to form water and then release energy. The fuel cell creates electric energy from this reaction. That means with some decent sized storage batteries (like in hybrid cars now) and a fuel cell source of electricity, a practical totally electric car can be made that uses hydrogen (and oxygen) as its fuel.
You can run hydrogen in a 4 cycle engine but it would not be as efficient as a fuel cell.

Exxon/Mobil will delete this question - along with bio-fuels and electric vehicles. If you own the only water source in town and you make plenty of dough selling it to the townsfolk, what would you think of a well drilling company moving into town?
