You are talking about an outfit?
Old rose will probably look nice with burgundy. The two colors, one darker and one paler, will probably blend well.
Depending on your skin coloring, cream would look nice. Maybe another shade of pink. Or black if it's a evening look, old rose top and black skirt.
I wouldn't go with a contrasting color, too bright.
Could you be a little more specific?

Lovely combination. Is the motif all over the house/apt? or just in the living room? If your walls are rose, you could paint one main wall in the burgundy. You could use stripped and flowered pillows that have your colors in them along with sage greens and other light colors. Are you going for Victorian or Middle Eastern? If Victorian, you can bring in lace curtains and lace pillows. Have one acclectic piece of furniture like a chair or table in white rattan. You can put Burgandy sheers under curtains to keep the colors flowing together. If you are going Middle Eastern/Indian, you can bring in layers of these shades in your accessories and even an exciting dark orange. Just because you live in a tropical area doesn't mean your home has to have a beachy look even though those colors are pretty too. Much depends on the furniture you have, the light you get and of course your style and likes. Whatever you do, remember less is more. Leave open spaces or even open walls. You can bring in plants too. Have a corner with plants that are tall in the back and layer them down. Choose nice pots that are glazed or ceramic and in your colors or accessory colors. You can get all shades of green plants. Put a small light behind the plants for a soft, filtered light at night.

Maybe you did not want or need this much info but I hope it helps you a bit. Have fun decorating or even just painting!

That is one of my favorite color combinations. Perhaps, I would go with pastel colors if I were in the tropics, though. Perhaps light blues and mint greens.
