sometimes people have an idea of what a person is that is very hard for the other person to live up to (or even not what they person is), people would rather end relationship and find someone else than compromise or admit they were wrong

unfortunately, it tends to mean a lot of people waste a lot more time 'looking' these days - while never actually getting anywhere

lack of communication is the biggest reason though, it often feels like u are always with the wrong person at the wrong time as well

that is u tend to try what isnt right with last person with next one, but that isnt right for them and so on, and so on

greed and jealousy also play a big part, anything i have done and tell my partner about they might want etc, etc, etc

also parents can set a bad example in many cases, which means your relationship model is FUBAR to begin with

The lack of communication, and consideration of another person or their feelings. Selfishness and never compromising also ruins a relationship. The lack of listening and really hearing what the person says or not being impathetic and sympathetic in a time of need also plays a big factor in ruin!

Its a failure to work together. All relationships have to be worked on to remain healthy. You start out working at getting the attention and you should not expect it to remain an interesting thing once in the relationship. Nothing remains interesting unless you keep altering and creating the interest. Just like the earth and the stars above the are always evolving to make us look at them in awe. I think the biggest problem is Friendship. We speak so much about friendship, but not with a mate. If the one we are sharing our time with is not a friend and all there is, is sex, then it is wrong.

Too many people are confused with passion and love too. There should be more time spent in relationships and geetting to know a person before getting so sexually involved.
