The goal of terrorists is to terrorize. Keep everybody paranoid.
Unfortunately, the government man that everybody hated told
the truth. We will never be able to stop every terrorist plot.
We are inconveniencing oursleves. Not that we shouldn't
take precautions. Nevertheless, ten men with combat skills, hand to hand fighting, can take over a plane without weapons.

As far as I have heard on Fox news and CNN... no, they are still banned temporarily. All electronics including mp3 players, dvd portable devices, laptops, cell phones etc etc.

To make sure, incase they have removed the bann, you can always call the airport ahead of time and ask them.

These answers haven't been paying attention to the news the last day or so. YES, you CAN have laptops/Ipods. This was only a temporary restriction that is not valid anymore...!

No electronic items are allowed on as hand luggage anymore or certainly at the present time,not even mobile phones !

In the UK no electrical equipment or liquids allowed, if it is baby milk the mother or an accompanying passenger must taste it in front of customs to prove it is just baby milk.

yes but only air travel within the in the united states. cell phones are also allowed within u.s. travel only.

not unless you buy it air-side after going through all the checks.................you can buy disposable razors air-side which makes a nonsense of the whole thing
