Actually it will fade faster. The same goes with tats on the feet. Many professional tattoo artist will not tattoo people there because they do not want to have to do free touch ups when it doesn't last and they don't want their names attached to such faded work.

Wow people posting that don't know what they are talking about. A Permanent Tattoo will not FADE, but it will Disappear in about a week. This is because a tattoo is just ink below the skin. When the skin is scrapped and it dies you shed it. It doesn't take long to shed skin on your palms.

I have a tattoo on the palm of my hand... IT HURT... but after 7 years it looks just as good as when it was done... yes it has faded slightly but then all do...

Unless it is a Hanna or some sort of temporary tattoo, then it should fade a little as with all other tattoos, but it will not go away.

I wouldn't recommend one, it would shed as well as be exposed to elements such as cleaning products, oil, sunlight, etc, on a daily basis.

i have had tatoos for 15 yrs now ,i dont think it matters where they are located they dont fade at all.
