Absolutely not. We would have to go back to bartering for everything we couldn't produce ourselves, and if for instance the shoemaker doesn't want what you have to barter, you have to keep bartering what you have until you find something he does want, or go without shoes. With money, the whole transaction takes a couple of minutes, not all day.

Let's think for a moment- that would be nice not having to worry about money for this and that and whatever- BUT would jobs gets done, and the world run efficiently if people didn't get paid ?

Also, it may mean everyone would have to work from scratch to get the final product- grow the apple to make the apple pie that you could have easily bought - you would have to build your own house, you would have to print your own newpaper- nothing would get done - or done on time if ever- would be chaotic really.

Money really does make the world go around!

You can get rid of money, but can you get rid of trade? If I have A and my neighbor has B, and we are both better off trading shouldn't we be allowed to do so? If no, I have to go out and find food in the forest, which is probably not very efficient.

If you are okay with me trading, all that will happen is that money will be substituted for "something else" (like gold was in the old days). That's not very efficient either.

As all of us be conscious of it? NO. it somewhat is all all of us be conscious of... yet evaluate your many many diverse personalities in our international. There are some that are chuffed to proportion, and those that at the instant are not, and there are some that fall in between. This mentioned, there is a lot greed contained in the international, and you will speculate that money has corrupted guy to develop into grasping, yet greed is a trait that extends previous foreign places money. it somewhat is basically a desire to have wealth, skill, possessions in extra. To anyone who wants to get rid of their money - I will take it off your hands for a small handling fee. Walk the talk or walk away.

Money is just a tool for exchanging effort and goods. With all it's variations, the phenomenon known as 'social loafing' precludes jst throwing it all away and working for the common good (not that theri aren't a lot of scavengers as it is). Since we are not like ants, communism does not work.

Just like communism....It seems like a good idea until you try it. It would be nice if people weren't so greedy but there is no way it could work. We would just end up replacing it with some other item. Humans are too greedy to just live in equality and work without some kind of materialistic reward.

No beacuse Americans are already lazy. They wont study, the wont go to school, they moan and groan about doing chores, the only thing that motivates Americans is money. Without money making people do what they need to do we would not have vegetation, fresh water, and fast food resturants.

Equality doesnt work with humans. Nice question but not realistic. Money differentiates classes, inspires lower classes to achieve. Without wealth, what would be the motivation? Just being 'good' doesnt cut it.
