because of a violation. The next question that I read by someone else was" Do girls really like oral sex?" Why does my harmless question about the path less taveled get pulled and a question about oral sex sails by? I think both are legitimate questions. I just don't understand why a quote from Robert Frost is a violation. Yahoo staff could you please respond.

That question, like all of yours, was original, creative and entertaining. I simply can't understand why it was deleted.
Perhaps the staff at YA does not take a hard look at the questions about which people complain. Perhaps their marching orders are to delete a question that receives a certain number of complaints, regardless of the complaints' merit. Or perhaps someone at YA is a Robert Frost fanatic with no sense of humor. Just kidding.
All seriousness aside; good judgment is a rarity in this brave new world of ours. Pity.

(P.S. I've hiked a few of the trails around Van., but more often I go down to Ptld. or Eugene and environs for good hiking. Try the trails in the McKenzie Valley, east of Springfield, for some GREAT hikes. I range all over the world - today I'm on the island of Curaçao in the Netherlands Antilles, and tomorrow I'm going to Colombia! Soon I will take over the world! Bwahahahaha!)

I too have asked perfectly legitimate questions and for some reason they got removed.
Someone didn't like it and put in a complaint. That is the only thing I can think of.
I really would like to understand how YA deals with complaints, etc. Do they actually look at the question?
I have sent in the odd complaint and it was dealt with very quickly.
So I'm not quite sure I understand their process.

Contact Yahoo staff. That seems a bit ridiculous.

Apparently you fell into one of these catergories:
Why was my question, answer, or comment deleted?

However, we reserve the right to remove content that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be inappropriate and/or in violation of the Yahoo! Answers Community Guidelines or the Yahoo! If you are unsure whether your content is appropriate or consistent with these policies, please err on the side of caution and do not post it on Yahoo! Answers.

Try going here. I don't know that you will get a response, but hopefully, you will.

Remember when we were young and thought when we were old we would understand more? Well it seems to me the older we get the less thing make sense! Yahoo has no taste or class!

Risking another violation myself
Print those e-mails and use them to paper your bath! LOL Or in the bottom of the bird cage if you have one!

ouch. & I just got best answer for who do you thank when you leave an orgy? (my reply you ask? whoever gave you the most bang for your buck, of course.) Now how can 1 question of that nature get by & you received a violation is beyond any of us. I can only imagine you received no pleasure from your violation either. Violate me but make it feel good? never happens. no fair.

"some say the world will end in fire,
some say the world will end in ice,
From what i've tasted in this bitter life,
either will suffice"

Someone reported you for whatever reason. It happen to me before because someone didn't like an answer of mine. This site really doesn't have any rhyme or reason on how they do stuff.

Creativity, such as yours, must be controlled and shunned. You do not fit the mold of the perfect person. The slugs of the world are threatened by someone that thinks. Ergo, they do their best to silence you. Welcome to my world.
