Look at the link. Only Turkey thinks less of evolution than America. The rest of the civilized and industrialized world is smarter. And guess what country has the most doubt concerning global warming? Yup.

Americans are not stupid, however they are religious.
And America has become a really political place where everyone feels like they need to pick a side.
Some people on the religious end have convinced others that evolution is just some wacky theory which a bunch of liberals cooked up to destroy your religion.
The same thing is going on with global warming. Instead of actually looking at the research, people are just picking sides politically. They believe it's "liberal" to believe in evolution or get good gas mileage.
I take it back, actually. If they fall for all that, then Americans are stupid.

This survey is obviously bent. Who did they survey? The extreme Christian right.? Global warming? Give me a break. The most recent polls here have shown that 70% of Americans are very concerned about these issues.
It would be best to consider your sources before passing loose judgments.

Only an idiot would bet his soul against and unproven theory. Even if the theory of evolution proves correct it still does not disprove the existence of god. Maybe you should go monkey around with that thought for a while.

Evolution is a theory not a fact just like creation they both sound rediculous and there is no basis of fact for either of them and by the way opionons are like a**holes--everyone has one!!
