Absolutely not! If you have been watching it lately you will see that he added some new segments and it is getting funnier and more enjoyable to watch. Try it and you will see. I love the segments with Rupert from the Hello Deli. Letterman is a true professional.

Agreed. He's lost his original audience of college-age students who watch in their dorms hoping to see someone in the audience wearing one of the college's sweatshirts.
He past his prime some time around when he hosted the Oscars. Sure, he tries to put on a goofy show from time to time, but his stunts are a shadow of hilariousness of what they used to be.

yes. his humor has become sort of 'blah' in the past year. i still think he is goofy, but someone needs to re-write his scripts and jokes....or he should retire and take care of that cute little baby of his.
i agree that he is better than Jay.
btw, Rupert needs his own show, i think he's deserved it by now.

I haven't watched him since he sold out and moved to CBS. I was tired of watching him play with his tie 15 years ago and he is still up to it.

no., not yet...
as long as he has followers excited to stay up for his show, he will always be the Late Night Guy...
i think retiring will make him sick...
