i think both because they can both handle the pressure of playing in a lot of positions in one songle game. thez can both play as playmakers when needed ( iverson is one anw) and wade when he is at his night nobody can stop him................. but dont forget that allen iverson made slam dunks even though he is one of the shortest players in the nba

come on dont even ask this, i lnow for sure, no i know for a fact that iverson could NOT tkae dwayne wade. for instance did you see the 2006 NBA all-star game when dwayne wade and allen iverson played on the same team? iverson had LESS than 20% shotting nd missed key shots, while dwayne wade made MORE than 50% of hi shots as well making the last point for the east which made them win. iverson is a skilled player i can admit but the world champion miami heat would have NEVER have beat dallas and come back from a 2-0 defficet to win the chamionship 4-2. if iverson was in wades place the heat would have lost, if wade was in iversons sixers, they would have gone farther than they did, plain and simple. so in the end both players are all-stars and have made the olimypic team but wade is younger and more skilled as well as taller, hes an all around player and iverson had a good carrer, but hes just getting to old. so i go with d-wade

Having lived in Philly the last 10 years, I can tell you that Iverson is a novelty act like the man who bites off the heads of chickens. Because the rules don't allow players to play defense, because travelling isn't called, because palming the basketball isn't called, because offensive players can initiate contact near the basket, because of all these corruptions of the rules of basketball Iverson is allowed to score points.
But, he can not play well with other players. He does, as we say here, "dominate the basketball". He needs time to dribble and dribble and dribble before he drives, and his fellow teammates have nothing to do but stand around. So, Iverson makes his teammates WORSE basketball players. He is incapable of moving without the ball. He is too small to play credible defense.
Wade, on the other hand, plays without the basketball. He plays defense. He can change his game depending on whether Shaq is in or out of the lineup.
There are probably 20 players in the NBA who would be better to build a team around than Iverson. He's nowhere near the player that Wade is.

mmmmm....wade definitely has his good points, but iverson is the ANSWER guys. how could u guys say hes slowing down??? hes scoring even MORE points than his mvp season. anywayz,,,the question is who plays better basketball? u cant compare them by their amount of success in the NBA, simply because of the difference in talent in their teams. wade has shaq, payton, ZO, and several other B-list talents on his team. the best AI has to work with is and Webber with bad knees, and a fresh sophomore (soon to be junior) of Iguodala. and if i were in the nba, id rather be on the team with an aging shaq, rather than an aging webber. sooo, we have to look only at the skill and talent of the individual. iverson has been breaking ankles and crossing up players for the past 10 years (including the almighty MJ during his ROOKIE yr), and is at his prime having come off a 33.0 pt, 7.4 asst season, while wade, hard to believe, is just getting his career on the ground. ALthough he has won a championship already, doesnt mean hes a better baller. he just has a better team. and so, at this point in time, Allen Iverson is the better baller. but i guess its safe to say that in the future, MAYBE D Wade can surpass iverson's talent.

D Wade, he's more well rounded. Iverson is just a prolific scorer, but wade can run the entire offense.

Wade plays much better fundamental basketball and shots better and even drives better, the only thing AI is better in is cross-over moves and he might be a little faster, but Dwayne is also a good team player and a good leader, and that's one of the reasons why Miami won the championship this year.

i could ought to declare team A. Duncan can take everyone one on one, Dirk shoots the lighting fixtures furnishings out, Marion in all probability isn't as solid as a number of those bench gamers, KOBE, and Chris Paul. to no longer point out Dwight Howard, between the main dominant gamers contained in the NBA, like it or no longer. Yao Ming averages 25 12, and would shelter everyone. Gilbert Arenas... As for team B, they have a sprint of an older lineup, if ou verify out the bench. Shaq and Rasheed... Vince Carter, Ben Wallace, and Ray Allen. Chauncey Billups isn't as super any of the gamers from team A. i could think of that team A could win. Kobe is the X-ingredient, LeBron could be, yet too many adult men from team A can double him. you may no longer double Kobe. he's the two too quickly or too solid.
