have you or would you take a shower outdoors?

Question

i was thinking of taking a shower outside today, however i live in a suburban neighborhood, and my "privacy fence" isn't exactly that private...lol.
i will probably just put my swimsuit on and shower that way...for some reason i think it is refreshing and relaxing to bathe in nature.
should i build a private outdoor shower? how would i go about doing this--i need a temporary one since i am renting.
also, what do you guys think? please don't say i'm weird...i just tend to like nature a lot. ;-)

no i am not doing this for attention. some people are just in tune with nature--you have to have a pretty closed mind to think of this as a sexual thing.

Yes and Yes. I love showering outside. Very sexy, can I watch. J/K but the easiest way to do this is to get an outdoor shower you can get them at any outdoor store. You fill it with water let it set in the sun all day and then in evening you have a nice warm shower.

I have taken showers outdoors and it is very refreshing. There are simple ways to "build" temporary outdoor showers. You could form a circular steel top attached to the ground or the house by either a couple supporting posts or beam. From which you could drape a shower curtain from and then through the top insert the shower spicket. There you have a very temporary and inexpensive outdoor shower.

I have also done this while camping and it's wonderful. As long as it's warm enough outside the open air feels great, very refreshing. If you're concerned about privacy then that might ruin it. Fix your fence or build a small shower curtain outside. Just having the open air above you is really great.

When I visited Cape Hatteras...
We rented a house there, right on the beach. Many of the homes have outdoor showers, for practical reasons...(to get sand off, of course).
I was in heaven. It felt so beautiful & refreshing to go out in the morning at sunrise & shower....

You can probably find a portable outdoor shower in a sporting goods or camping type store. I've showered outside, sort of, being in Girl Scouts when I was a kid, and I know what you mean, I love nature myself :) I'd shower outside too, if I could, but it's too hot - I'm in Florida :)

I agree. There is something about being outdoors that is refreshing. If I could shower outside I would but I live in the city and it's impossible.

I've never showered outdoors, but on camping and hunting trips I've bathed in lakes and streams. As far as just going out in the back yard to shower, I don't think I'd care for it. I firmly believe that man has worked hard to develop amenities such as indoor plumbing and hot water heaters, and it's our solemn duty to make use of them. Good luck with that shower you're looking for.

I have and I love it when I build my next house I am putting a Shower outside and the Walls will be probably Honeysuckle vines on a Plastic Trellis.

I have while camping. I think it would be awesome to have an outside shower at my house....you've given me an idea..

Hi Army,,,, ok the green latrine,,,, get a metal rod,,, bend it almost round,,,attach the rod to something to hold it..... put you shower curtin on it... and go to it honey.....
