why is it that now in days chatting in the internet or on the phione it is getting a lot more popular.......... is this good or bad do u do it.......

Chatting on line is popular because no one knows who you really are!! They can't judge you on your looks, weight, height, race, etc. We feel more comfortable in our own homes talking in are pajamas compared to being in a club where you are judged. But you do need to be careful in what information you give to others on the net. Otherwise have fun talking and sharing with others.

It's popular because it's easy. Punch a couple of buttons and you can talk or chat with someone.
Maybe your not old enough to recal the horrors of the no 'net and phone world. You had to wait until you got home before you used a phone, or you had to use one on a street corner. There was not 'net, so the best you could do is send a letter..or a fax.

I love the chat either way. You meet interesting people and want to keep in touch. Chatting is a nice way to express yourself. I try to be careful about who is allowed to chat with me. I have had a few bad experiences, but on the whole I find it safe. You just have to keep your guard up when meeting someone new.

I'm doing it right now. The good part is it connects more people who can than share ideas. The bad part is people are not always honest

depends in which way u mean it. if u have close friends and chattin on the computer is takin over u meetin face to face than i dont think its good. but meetin new ppl online and chattin to them isnt a bad thing or so i think :)
