It was about con men, and all this time I thought I was married to a pathological liar, but he is a full-fledged, 100 percent con man! Lied about college degrees, jobs, money, miliary experience... I feel like such a fool. He promised money from his parents, money from a trust fund... Unbelieveable!!! Anyway, divorcing so I may be saved if I can get out of this with my credit still intact. We used my credit to buy house and 2 vehicles. Thank GOD we were only married a little over a year.

I didnt get to see the episode....however. My sister was engaged to a man man 7 years ago. He ruined her credit , stole her money and tore our family apart. He stole her checks from a closed account and wrote $12,000 worth of checks from kansas to south dakota. The only thing that saved my sister from going to jail was proof that she was working while the checked had been written. Her ex also bragged of family riches and yachts on the riviara...he didnt have a job and begged ciggerettes off people he didnt even know, however he was so convincing EVERYONE believed him. 2 years after my sister and the con man went their own ways...my sister was summoned to court ...the con man had been using my sisters personal info to charge up bills all over town.

Good for you! You realized the problem in time to get out of it. You should not feel ashamed. He conned a lot of people before he got to you. You were being yourself - trusting and loving as a wife should be. He is the liar who broke the trust.

Congratulations on having the courage to get up and take control of your life.
