who is your fav. player and why??
my favorite player waz PAUL LODUCA but he's gone but i'll be his fan for life. After paul left my favorite waz CESAR IZTURIS but now he's gone too!!
So on todays roster i'm gunna have to go with RUSSEL MARTIN. I see him as a lil LODUCA mini-me

This is a tough question because there have been so many great Dodgers. Of the current crop, I like to watch Andre Ethier(sweet swing) and Nomar, I'm a little dissapointed in J.D. Drew.. Mike Piazza the greatest hitting catcher of all time, wish he would have spent his entire career in Dodger blue..
Sandy Koufax he was the best, there were days that the other team didn't even have a chance against Koufax. I don't think Don Sutton gets his due, great pitcher. "Bulldog" the nickname given to a baby face, Orel Hershiser by Tommy.
Even though I never got to see most of these guys play. My favorite team is the 1953 Brooklyn Dodgers..One of the truely great starting 8's in the history of baseball. 955 runs scored. 6 scored over 100 runs, 3 had over 120 RBI's, 3 of the top 5 in NL in BA - HR - RBI. The 53 team lost the World Series to the Yankees but they got the Yankees back in 55..

Yay Dodgers!!!!!!!!! Aren't they doing great ? Favorite current Dodger: Nomar Garciaparra. Favorite current pitcher: Greg Maddox. Favorite all time: Duke Snider, favorite all time pitcher: Don Drysdale. Best moment: Kirk Gibson's pinch hit home run in the '88 world series. Other great players: Koufax, Valenzuela, Wills.... Go Dodgers!!! World Series in '06!

Well if we are talking all time favorite players, I would have to go with Mike Piazza. You just have to love watching that guy swing. The problem with loving a Dodger is they never stay. In todays lineup, I would have to choose Andre Eithier. He really gives the game his all.
