Jack the car up. Grab the wheel and move it back and forth. It should be steady. If there's any play in it, it's going bad. Usually when a bearing goes, there is a humming noise, similar to a pin hole in a muffler. When it really goes, you know it! It's a sound you're not soon to forget. Is your ABS light on? That's another sign. The part is under $200, the labor $????, depending on who you go to.

The Wheel Bering is what the tire spins on. It is usually in a hub form and held on by three bolts. It is not real hard to replace just getting the stuff out of the way is the hardest. Just make sure what ever brand you use is a good brand and has some type of warrenty. Parts master has been good when I have used them

thia is something you should have looked after right away but have your mechanic do it they are very hard to do in your driveway and sometimes they can get very exspensive but they need to be done.
