I want to for religious and health reasons, but I enjoy my foreskin as well

The health reasons thing is a myth, and I don't know why women think uncircumcized is gross. It's not like you've got a gaping yeast-infected hole with five flaps of skin on the tip.

An uncircumcized penis can be subjected to two kinds of diseases: In one, buildup of infected pus can get caught under the fold, and obviously, if you've had a foreskin for long enough to learn how to type in proper english, you can probably avoid this anyway. The other disease is an STD, which obviously requires a partner. The claim is that because the foreskin and tip remain moist, and there's that flap, viruses, or bacteria that cause STDs can more easily be transferred and infect. With proper cleaning, this is not much of an issue.

The circumcized penis is subject only to the STD attacks, BUT because you loose your sensitive foreskin and frenulum, it takes more stimulation to get you off. That takes more vigorous, and longer penetration, which means that you are in intimate contact with a potentially infected partner for longer. The more vigorous penetration can also lead to microscopic tears in the penis head, through which a disease can more likely get in. Also, as the penis head is exposed to the open air, it eventually becomes rougher, and harder to clean off.

The act of Circumcision of course also comes with it's own risks. Adult circumcision comes with fewer risks than child circumcisions, but there are still a number of risks. Chief amont them is the possibility of getting blood infections, which are notoriously hard to cure. Any circumcision, of course, makes for almost an inch and a half less skin on the penis, and the tightness of the remaining skin can hold you back by that much. Eventually, the penis should stretch the skin, and you'll regain most of this length, but this stretching can also lead to pubic hair creeping up the shaft of the penis. Sometimes, the doctor does not cut precisely even all the way around, or one part of your remaining skin is naturally thinner than another. This can cause the penis shaft to bend somewhat, and by the time the skin has stretched enough to correct, the blood vessels inside the penis have generally become accustomed to the new shape, and cannot be reconfigured.

In the end, you can only get circumcized once, and it's your call, which is more than I can say for myself, having been circumcized as a child, and now fully aware that this is why I've got a curve in my shaft, and another less noticeable disfigurement of my one and only manhood.

If you're sincerely doing it for religious reasons, like converting to Judaism or Islam, then you should do it. If you're having recurrently and severe problems with your foreskin, then you should do it.

However, it doesn't seem like you've any problems with your foreskin, and by asking this question you may not have the conviction for the religious reasons.

Put it this way, if you get circumcised for religious reasons you should embrace that religion fully; so you can't look back; you will need conviction. If you do it for health reasons when nothing's wrong, you may end up regretting it as you've probably come this far with nothing wrong, so why change it? Consider fully if the religious reason is valid, and consider fully what you'd be missing by cutting it off for "health reasons" if you've never had problems before, and likely never will.

It's apparently not a good idea as:
-it makes you less sexually sensitive (probably wrong choice of words)
-they do funny stuff with the foreskin

at the end of the day, it's your choice. Also, there aren't actually any good reasons, in regard to health, to get it done (unless your foreskin is tight or not elasticky)

Well you said that you want to do it for religion and health which seems to be a little more important than just enjoying your foreskin and who knows you might enjoy it more afterwards.

Which ever is more important to you is what you should do

WELL YES! fore skin isnt the grossest thing, but most men don't know how to maintain there foreskin and how to clean it properly, causing an unattractive smell. but then again men with foreskin are a little more sensitive on the Glan (what the foreskin covers) your choice.

I think if you really want to do it you should. Im 15 and I've been really wanting to get cut for about 6 months now. I think it looks better. Seems easier to clean. Also it seems to be a good way to lessen the possibilities to get diseases

you are obviously not a child - if done in early childhood, much fewer risks---however, if not a child, there are some risks to urinary tract and vas and blood circulation in the area (the are many unqualified physicians out there), KEEP IT CLEAN and it won't matter health wise, but this must be done religiously (no pun intended)--otherwise, it is up to you, but research it thoroughly 1st

I've heard that circumcised guys are less sensitive because the skin is more exposed. But, apparently they tend to have longer errections. Oral sex is also easier on a guy who is circumcised. And the health reasons are a huge + and also very important! (and appreciated by women)
