Farve and Reggie are going to be the definition of the Pack for years to come, but I still believe the greatest of all time was Nichke, with Horning coming in a close second. These players just represent what the game is all about. Toughness and sacrifice. Either way....Go Pack!!!

oh... its a toss between the Green Bay Packers and the Carolina Panthers. Best player of all-time... Barry Sanders. The man could have been considered the greatest player of all time if he didn't quit prematurely. Regardless of why he quit, weither he really retired early or whether it was a phone malfunction or if he just mumbled the wrong thing I don't really care.

However, my other favorite player, the one who really got me watching football as a kid was Reggie White. The man, the myth the Legend. it was right after he left Philly and went to Green Bay.
Watching him play was like a magic act.

Not really. I respect Lombardi era but not a big fan. Of all the Packers then I will say Bart Starr gets my vote as he was classy and is extremely underrated. I personally think he is the best QB of all-time (check his career yards per attempt).

My personal fave player of all-time is George Blanda as he made me an NFL fan after the 1970 season where he pulled games out of the hat for about 5 weeks in a row,

I like the Pack, and my fave was a short-lived LB from the 80's, Tim Harris, because I'm from Memphis and he was one of the Tigers' best defensive players ever. He was a fave of NFL films as well because he never stopped running his mouth the entire game.

Although Green Bay has had it's share of players from the U of M, perhaps the most successful (also short lived) was a RB, Middleton (can't remember 1st name), who had a 1,000 yard season for them back in the '70's.
