Ayn Rand, author of "Atlas Shrugged", "The Fountainhead", and "Anthem", which were some of the first books to denounce communism and promote individualism, as well as capitalism.
her works had a great impact on modern philosophy. Plus, she's just a really good writer- it's hard to put her books down!

coco chanel was definitely the most stylish.
She modernised women's fashion at the beginning of the century. Made the little black dress high fashion and her pursuit of expensive simplicity made her arguably the most important figure in the history of 20th-century fashion design.
quotes:
"Dress shabbily and they remember the dress; dress impeccably and they remember the woman"
"Fashion passes, style remains"
