Yes, those that have taken upon them selves to kill others should be sent to Iraq and any other "frontlines". There's enough in our prison system that there wouldn't be any need for our young men to be there. That's my thoughts.
As far as them running to the other side. Do you really think a country hating America as much as these do, they would really care if your a felon or not. If this person is shooting at you and you fear for life would you not shoot back? These criminals would face a more grusome reality there, then wasting thier life away in some prison wondering if they could score a smoke from the guard.

I don't think they would necessarily run to the other side because most are Americans as well....Some would need some good training first. Sure, lets put Scott Peterson at the front!

FYI; To keep one soldier at the "front" takes at least 12 ppl working fulltime in support! Fact!
Unless you intend to use these criminals as human sandbags, no way!!

Modern war is fought by trained soldiers who are loyal to their countries. Your suggestion will only add difficulties.

yeah why not, i mean they are on death row in the first place. but we need to train these people, but when the death row inmates are all gone who will take their place? the people in jail but not in death row?

not only them but all criminals should be trained and armed for war, to relieve the anger them have pent up in a positive way. and they would be doing a service to to USA.
