Music of the 80's hmmm let's think about this one. Really there is no comparison to The Smiths, The Cure, Soixsie Sue, Janes Addiction started up back then too. Then there are the classic Men Without Hats....Safety Dance anyone? Skid Row, Poison, Motley Crue, Twisted Sister! Iron Maiden, Judas Preist, the list just keeps getting better

I grew up on 80's rock(hair bands), as a matter of fact I just saw Cinderella & Poison in concert a few days ago!! I love 80's music

Love 80's music! Motley Crue is soooo my fave. but I didnt like how there were soo many bands coping off the early bands like Ratt and motley and Van halen.
bands like wite snake, winger, cinderrella, poison, ect
were copy cats that couldnt find there own style and took onto the movement going, much like todays emo and hiphop deal.
I think record companies go by the moto
"if one sells it all will."
witch is sad cuz these bands that start with great artistic value get lost in the crowd when everyone else gets sick of it being so cliche and decide to trash it all.

I LOVE 80's music! My obession started with TOTO (I know! But I loved "Roseanna" and "Africa" sooo mcuh!) and went on to me rumaging through my parents music cabinets for anything. The "Pure 80's" and "80's Hits" opened my ears to many more groups and suddenly my iPod was filled with Duran Duran, ASIA, The Police, Tears for Fears, Eurythimics, Rick Springfield, Madonna (EARLY Madonna), Queen, Blondie, Soft Cell...my favorites just to name a few!
So, yeah, 80's and the Beatles are my music....not the norm for a 16 year old girl, but who cares! I know my tastes are the coolest!!!
