I've never really been fond of Halloween. Being a senior, it's my last year to go trick-or-treating, the last farewell to childhood, but I've never really enjoyed it that much.
And as for Christmas, much of it is celebrating the presants instead of the meaning behind it, which has made it quite a selfish holiday. I don't enjoy Christmas much, either.
I do, however, like the winter HOLIDAYS, which include thick, warm sweaters and warm cups of hot chocolate, going caroling to nursing homes and having a snowball fight. I love watching news broadcasts of Christmas and Hanukkah celebrations all over the world, and I love sitting in front of the fireplace. Halloween and Christmas have never been my thing, but my favorite holiday is the holidays.

Christmas you get gifts. Halloween you get candy. Christmas is better. The gifts are worth more than the candy. I get candy everyday.

I prefer Samhain to Yule. It's warmer and we have more opportunity to celebrate.
