i sent this question in regards:

When a boyfriend cheats on you wit a good friend, who is more to blame?
My best friend found out yesterday that her boyfrind had slept with one of her good friends. She has been with the boyfriend for 12 months nd has known the friend for 5 years. Which betrayal do you think is worse?

im not sure who put the question but im going through this now and have an idea. what if the ex and my friend were not together. my friend was in another relationship at the time. how is the friend wrong in that case?

Technically noone, unless there was some agreement made.

You should rephrase the question though, it's a bit misleading.

Many people think that what happens while you're 'broken up' has no bearing on when you get back to gether. Yet I think it has a lot of influence.

Consider, if you or your b/f couldn't wait to see how things would turn out between you, and wasted no time jumping in bed again, what does that say about them?

I really don't understand why people can't figure out why their partners are just not right for them.

There is an expression, "All's fair in love and war". Nobody is "wrong" in this situation, provided nothing was forced. I think that feelings of jealousy can arise because people often feel some attachment to one another for a while after they break up.

Also, I'm not sure its a good idea to be sleeping around. Love making always carries the price of some level of emotional attachment. I urge restraint in these matters.

The friend probably fells like she ratted you out.

Sex is a pretty personal thing, and she violated your

trust by being intimate with your boyfriend.
