OK I LED THIS BROTHER TO OUR CHURCH,AND EVERYTIME HE COMES TO PREACH HE LIKES FOR ME TO COME TO THIE PULPIT WITH HIM TO READ FOR HIM,HE ALWAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM BEING MY FRUIT,AND IF IT WAS'NT FOR GOD WORKING THROUGH ME HE WOULD NOT BEEN IN THE CHURCH ETC. BUT I DONT TAKE ANY CREDIT DFOR IT,BECAUSE ITS MY REASONABLE SERVICE.BUT I KNEW HIM BEFORE THE PSATOR OR ANY OF THE MEMBERS ,SO SUNDAY GONE WE WAS IN CHURCH AND PASTOR WAS SAYING,THAT ANYONE WHO WANTED TO GO TO MIAMI TO HELP WITH THE FIRST SERVICE COULD GO ,BUT ON THE WAY HOME I WAS TALKING TO PASTOR AND I SAID ANYONE CAN GO ,HE SAID WAIT A MINUTE ARE YOU IN THE CHOIR,I SAID NO HE SAID OK THEN THAT SHOULD ANSWER YOUR QUESTION,SO WE GOT INTO A ARGUEMENT AND HE SAID IF YOU DONT BELEAVE IN ME THEN FIND YOU ANOTHER CHURCH AND ANOTHER PASTOR?

Why not find a way to do some real good in the world? A soup kitchen or homeless shelter could use your services, or a library where you could volunteer to help with the books.

It looks like this religious thing is simply a way to keep negative relationships spiralling and make trouble for you. People will always have power trips and other problems. No need to waste your time with them.

Most churches operate by committee. The pastor may have had trouble with the choir members who feel that they don't want to lose good voices. (After all, most choirs believe that the good music is what many people come to hear...a bad choir can lose members of the church...odd but true.)

Lastly, his saying if you don't believe in HIM you should leave is also true. The members of a church have to support the pastor as much as they believe in the preachings of the church itself. And therefore, if you cannot support the pastor, then you should indeed find another church. However, you are free to make this choice. By attending a church, you are, in some small way, supporting both the church AND the pastor, but you can still attend without interracting with him. I'd take the time to think about your position with the church, and what the members of the church give YOU before I'd change churches.

it relatively is a great leap to flow from one deranged gunman to claiming non secular persecution. the assumption of somebody strolling right into a public place and beginning fireplace is abhorrent, no rely if its a school an workplace a McDonald's or a church. Why would you think of that anybody could conceivably think of it became proper? It became disgusting whilst 4 little females have been killed in a church bombing in 1963 and the incident in Illinois is basically as disgusting. yet i do no longer think of it relatively is a "sign of what's to return".

Sound like the Church of Jerry Springer. I would be changing my house of worship. There is enough BS in the world today, I certainly don't want it on my day of reflection.

Don't believe in any man. Believe in Christ. Find another place to worship.

He probably was not being himself. If he's just being himself, confront him and if you are still not happy, change church.
