there's a timeless band, originally from out Long Island NY way, with a really good guitar hero....I refer to Blue Oyster Cult, and Buck Dharma,....Don't Fear the Reaper, I Love the Night, Godzilla, Joan Crawford. Great stuff. If it's the blues influence in Floyd you're after, try Eric Clapton, or Stevie Ray Vaughan.

Well I've never really listened to Pink Floyd so I couldn't help you there but I'm a big 80's fan so for guitar look at Motley Crue-- their stuff from 81 to 89, like Dr. feelgood, Girls,Girls, Girls and Shout at the Devil, but try Louder than Hell, by Motley. Its on Theatre of Pain and its one of my personal faves.

i don't like rock music. ages ago i did, but now i fell for a new type of music. jazz. try to download a few songs of Michael buble. you'll fall for him too. that's a guaranty!

it depends what kind of rock, emo, punk, or PURE ROCK! i am a big fan of emo, that's actually pretty much all i listen to, if u like emo, definately afi, hawthorne heights, taking back sunday, and fall out boy are all great bands!
