My recommendation is to NOT start your own business now. My own business-in addition to a fulltime job--takes up so much time, energy, and thought. How about adding to what you're learning in college by finding a job in an industry you MIGHT want to eventually start your own business in? You CAN work your way through college. I did, taking out short term loans thru the school to make tuition, and then working after class and on weekends (I even donated plasma when things were really tough). It will make you a better student, graduate and career person. Don't skip college, and get a good business degree.

Depends on where you are, and what might work for you. EBay is a great way to make some extra money, but you do not get the benefits of a steady income through that.
Not sure what your credit is like, but if you are going to College, you can sometimes get a school loan to help pay for living expenses while you are in school. Also, depending on your school, they too may have various student jobs you could work at.
Might want to look into that...

Good to know you are a budding entrepreneur - we need more like you.
If you have a particular business in mind, its a good idea to find employment in that field so you can have some insight into that business. You will be paid while learning and you may be able to see what improvements are needed to prepare your own establishment.
Why go to college for one week only? Most people do not return when they drop out - be careful!

If you can go to school and run your own business then go for it.
I suggest working a couple of jobs and finishing school though.
Trust me on this I do not have a college degree and I really wish that I had the fore sight to have recieved one.
All I can tell you is hard work and determination will get you through.
It may not seem like it at the time, but it will.
Good Luck.

Studying in college full time is not so easy that you can also earn a living at the same time.
The best thing to do is either borrow money for college and pay it back when you finish your studies. Or go to work full time, save up enough money for college, and then go to college.
Of course, you can also try studying part-time and working part-time.

You may not mind taking risks, but if you're trying to support yourself, it's not the time to be taking risks. Why not stay in college and complete your education? There's plenty of time to be out here in the "real" world.

If you start your own business now and stick to it, when you graduate, how much do you think you will have?
If you don't start, how much do you think you will be without?
Find something you enjoy and go for it. Learn all you can but make the decision and stick to it. www.infoworthsharing.com
