I do not take it as gospel as with any source I do my homework and check it out the same way people should do with non-mainstream media.

I am a journalism student and a conservative. I think if you want the whole truth than you have to get your info from many news sources. I like debate. That's where you get both side's best points and counterpoints. I loved Capital Gang Sunday. I loved that show. I liked Crossfire Sunday with Lynn Cheney and Bob Beckle. She whipped him every time! The daily shoutfire on CNN was just a shouting match. There isn't any good debate shows now a days. I like the Brinkley show on Sunday morning before George Stef took it over. Steffy wreaked that show. I get most of my info on the net now a days from a variety of places. I have not picked up the state rag, Hartford Courant in centuries. The old daily rags are being hurt big time by the Internet.
Good.

Not me. I don't believe anyone who doesn't explain their point of view first. I especially don't believe anyone who claims not to have a point of view.
I would rather read a newspaper called the Duluth Democrat or Richardson Republican than the NY Times or Washington Post. At least I can evaluate the biases. But mainstream press outlets don't have the courage of their convictions. They primarily spout left-of-center politics and upper-class leanings and deny any claims of not being fair and balanced.

I believe much of it is factual, but they do leave out critical components. I also search on line, Drudge Report being one source, for more in depth reporting. Joel Rosenberg has a Flash Traffic that is chock full of great info.

Yes, of course. The "NEWS" has a lost to lose if they lie, and their "story" is as accurate as the GOV will let you or us know about anyway, also, facts are given in most news stories, so why would I not believe them, and why don't YOU believe them?????

No I don't. To do that would be idiotic. You need to reson to yourself. Like when they say Israel is murdering babies in Lebanon. Think for a minute what motive they would have to intentionally murder babies. None. But the news can't think like that.
