I'm not saying women aren't violent, but we all know men are more violent than us women (in general)... why?

Studies have shown that violence in men can be linked to testosterone, a hormone that is present in both males and females. This is why even though men may be more violent than women, women can be violent at times. Steriods are also known to cause impulsive violence, and testosterone is a type of steriod hormone. Since testosterone levels in men can be 10-20 times higher than in women, there is an increased tendency for men for violence or aggressive behavior.

Testosterone. Testosterone is a male hormone that is produced in the testes. Young men have it in excess, or at least it seems that way! While women do have this hormone, they have far less than males. I think, for example that one reason the terrorists who are so violent and angry seek violence is because their religion does not allow sex before marriage. All those young men, with no outlet for their hormones can cause the frustration to build and use it to create violence. (my opinion)

Natural-born fighters

One theory, known as the instinct hypothesis, proposes that aggression is a natural instinct, and has the biological function of ensuring the proper spacing of animals, thereby helping to maintain the stability of the group. The originator of this idea, Conrad Lorenz, observed that members of the same species were aggressive towards each other when they were subject to specific threats. He believed that violent instincts in man are normally expressed in a socially approved way in the modern world, for example through sport, and that failure to find such expression leads to undesirable aggressive acts.
