I also come from the French nobility and there is absolutely no chance of Royalty ever coming to power .France is a solid republic.All of the French nobility consider themselves Monsieur or Madame,or Mademoiselle in public life(all have jobs or hold investments);titles come into play for the social life.If you want to keep track of the society in France,try getting a magazine called Point de Vue(you'll need to read French,though;I do).Paris Match is also a good source.

I think France decided they didn't want any more royalty sometime around 1789 - with the French Revolution. They very much enjoy their socialist democracy - (which is pretty much the polar opposite of monarchy) and their people would riot to the last infant if the monarchy were re-instated.
On another note, I'm something like 140th in line for the throne of Denmark. They still have royalty, so....lucky me (I think)

No you did not came from French Royalty, and no you cannot and will never ever go back to power and again you don't have to worry about that because you did not came from French Royalty, even if you did you might not have a direct accession to the throne sorry
