I am anti social as well and I don't understand why you would want to change. If it is in your personality to be this way your goals are not the same as others and maybe you should not be a socalbutterfly.

I like to do things my way and I really could not care any less what someone else thinks about it. I try not to involve anyone in my way of thinking but if someone sees what I have going and wants to be part of it I will be more then happy to show them what it is that I have going on. But only if I think they are truly int rested and not just looking for something to use against me at a later time.

You might be the next Einstein you know he was a loner and he was atheist as well. The fact that you don't like to be around people don't mean there are anything wrong with you. You just need to find a woman that is the same as you and hook up. You will be very happy taking care of her and your hobbies. Your time alone could allow you to think and start a business and out do all of these people that cause you problems that you seem to want to stay a way from.

Some people HAVE to be surrounded by others. They can't do a dang thing by themselves. Be proud at least that you're not so dependent on others. Maybe you're just not meeting a lot of people who you have things in common with. (That's my problem.) Maybe you're just more the strong and quiet type. You can try taking a class or joing a club or team. But if you just want someone to talk to once in awhile, why not a pen pal? (A real one, not the e-pal type. ) You could at least communicate with someone, but it wouldn't have to be every single day.

I'm anti-social too, i hate being around tons of people but that's what makes the world go round. the interest i have is school. I'm on the national junior honor society. there are lots of shy people that i never got the chance to meet but somehow became my closest friends.

my advise: take an interest, find the people who like it and talk to them about other common interests that you might have.

Take an adult education class for something you like. Join a bowling league. Go to church, pick up a hobby.

More details, please - what do you do that you consider 'anti-social' - are you shy, or say mean stuff to people, etc?
