There could be no remedy for an obvious statement.

Whatever CAN go wrong, WILL go wrong.

Whether it CAN go wrong or not, is still in your hands mate :)

I have similar thoughts to those of Pyp. I am tired to Murphy's behaviour and wish he was incarcerated for a time to give me a rest.

Most of the time I just ignore it and just get on with my life.

Last week I had repairs done to the flat. This morning the toilet seat snapped off. I still leave it on top but I have to be careful while I am contemplating my navel.

I wish you a break from the phenomenon and not a physical one.

I am interested to know what the best answer is as well.

Theres no remidy for murphy that i know of, so learn to live with it like i had to.

PS. , if you do get a remidy, plz mail it to me..

I guess it is some kind of joke; such a thing can´t be a law! Think: thousands of things occur daily and we don´t even notice them, "we only pay atention to them when they are "bad" " -whatever that means-. Then, we only talk about murphy´s law in those few moments in which we remember it; that means, when something bad occurs between thousand of other things we don´t even consider.
Solution: enjoy the law! Bother your friends!

The remedy is to accept that the all pervasive Murphy's Law will impact all aspects of our lives. Knowing that things will not always go as planned will help you set better priorities and not be so depressed because things didn't go as planned.

Live in a state of denial. If you don't believe there is such a thing as 'wrong', then Murphy's law will never work on you.

You mean Murphy's Law, "Whatever can go wrong, will go wrong?" Simple: Anticipate and plan for every contingency.
