It seems to be a result of a complex mix of multiple factors, which are as follows:
1.There is a factor of apprehension, which is present in every one on a flight, especially when a flight is taking off or is landing. It must be there in the stewards and the pilots as well. However, the levels of apprehension will be obviously different, based on the experience, training, and the personal constitution. There is nothing abnormal about it. It can also precipitate a vasovagal attack in those who are very sensitive, but this is rare and unheard of.
2.In addition, there is a factor of ‘coronary spasm’ that can occur owing to apprehension, though not attributed as such to apprehension. This causes the coronary arteries that supply fresh blood to your heart muscles to undergo a spasm. The trigger is thought to be apprehension in some cases. This can cause chest pain (angina) till such time the spasm lasts. In persons with coronary heart disease (ischaemic heart disease) , it sometimes can also lead to actual ischaemic attack and not just the spasm alone.
3.The factor of acceleration and deceleration is also to be accounted for. As happens when you step on the throttle of your car or apply a sudden hard break, the body takes some time to come in tune with the acceleration or deceleration. Your internal organs are also pushed backwards or forwards with the sudden acceleration and deceleration. This adds to the discomfort and the associated pain associated by the heart being pushed back against the backbone and paraspinal viscera during acceleration, and against the breastbone while decelerating.

You are having a panic attack(theres nothing scientific, it's in your mind)...! It's quite common for young people. If you are old , or you have heart problems, then it could be a real problem.
