Your arms are acually the key. What your arms do your legs will follow. Your elbows should swing back pretty far and return your knuckles to the level of your chin.
Your hands should be pretty relaxed, I like to rest my thumbs on my index fingers. Also your jaw should be relaxed and you shouldn't have that tensed at all there is no reason for you to have that clenched because it will acually tire you faster.
As far as your posture I alwasy lean forward justl a little bit and make sure your arms are swinging only up and down never side to side.
Your knees should come up because that is your second driving force "your first being your arms" so you are acually driving your movement.
Next and lastly is your feet. Now your foot position if you are running a mile or more should be evenly distributed between your heel and the balls of your toes. Your toes being first to hit and your heel being last.
However if you are racing or running a sprint you probably will end up running more on your toes and less on your heels. This will work your calves more and will be more likely to give you shin splints, you probably don't want to do that.
Hope this helped good luck!

The heels of your foot not touching the ground when jogging. It makes your legs less tiring but more muscle work.

The best way to run and jog would be to run on the ball of your toes. if you run on the heel of your food it can lead to problems in your back and you don't get the total work out you need.

I was told by a Medical Doctor once that jogging or running is bad on the ankles,he said that a fast paced walk swinging your arms back and forth as you walk is a whole lot better for you.

Uhh... you put your right foot in front of your left foot, then your left foot in front of your right foot. Repeat a couple thousand times. Pretty basic, really.
