If you criticize the government of the USA you are not necessarily a liberal but a 'Patriot'. If you do not criticize the government of the USA you are most likely a 'Loyalist'. Loyalists have a more conservative mindset... Kind of like a dog; i.e. sit, stay, roll over, play dead, etc...

There is a difference and criticism and attacking. What most liberals do is to try and "slime" the administration. By saying that they are doing something wrong is fine, but follow it up with a rational argument. Offer solutions to things that the administration is wrong. Saying we went into Iraq to make money for Halliburton is stupid. The same is true for the other side as well.

I stand up and say I have an idea.

Someone tells me that they think I'm wrong and they have an alternate idea.

Someone tells me that I'm wrong and should go home.

Of the second two people, which one is critical, and which is obstructing?

There's your answer.
