its an ideal solution but not possible...too many vested interests

It's absolutely possible on paper :-)
The idea itself is nice, but the world if full of power hungry people and the religion helps them achieve it, for example Vatican City.
It would not work because Christians/Muslims/Jews and all the other religions have such variatians and extreme beliefs, that only some of each religion would accept this.

No, it isn't possible.

There is at least one religion--that is, Christianity--that has a commandment that goes like this: "I am the Lord your God. You shall have no other gods but me." "Tossing in" other gods would be breaking this commandment; therefore, it is impossible to mix this religion with others.

Moreover, in Christianity, Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." So, you can not, again, "toss in other ways" to get to God by creating a trail-mix bag from all religions.

But you are presuming that it is religion that causes terrorism. It isn't. It is hatred that causes terrorism, and hatred is only a component of a very few religions--like Satanism, for example. The problem isn't religion. It is a lack of faith in the true God.

In order to have one world religion, you'll need to kill every adherent of the Christian religion first, because our history shows that we will die before we will relent on our beliefs.
You live in dreamland if you think you can change terrorists, they do what they do because they honestly believe they are on their way into a much better afterlife and their family is financially cared for and respected, what can you offer to top that.

That is where you are wrong. we have seperat religins because of the fact that people cannot get along. if you put a muslim with anyone who differed from their beleif, within a fer months, the muslim would be the only living person. id is a great thought, but it has no practical aplication. keep thinking like that. do not let me discourage you from that line of thinking. just try a different approach.

Not a chance in the world. You could never ever ever ever get everybody to agree on something as fundamental as relgion (and all it takes are a few people to throw it all off)

It will never happen. Never in a million years will all the people of the earth want to be dictated anything from a religious group that is not theirs. It is a matter of *my God is better than your God*

No, but it's possible or everybody to confess their sins to God, lay hold on His grace by faith and walk in righteousness as Christians.
